Because of the way the magazine is bound, i.e. Perfect Binding, approximately 4mm of each page will disappear into the binding. The best way to allow for this if an image goes across the gutter, is to move the left hand page 4mm to the left, and the right hand page 4mm to the right, then in this 4mm area on each page which goes into the spine, duplicate the part of the image, which is next to it. So if the magazine is opened up hard, you will not get a white gap, but to all intents and purposes, just more of the ad. |

Fish & Game Magazine is produced with QuarkXpress on an Apple Macintosh network. QuarkXpress files are preferred, though most major Mac applications will be accepted. I.E. Pagemaker, Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop. Please make sure all links and fonts to these files are on the disk/zip/jaz etc., supplied. |
